This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Robots That Sell is a brand of Plainword Media LLC, a Utah company. "We" means Plainword Media LLC.

What we collect when you ask for a free preview

• What you tell the robots: what you sell, your market, your website, how you get paid and the things you'd like built.
• Your email address, so we can send your preview.
• A scrambled version of your internet address, used only to stop spam. We can't turn it back into your address.

To build your preview, the robots also look at public information about your business, like your website, your listings and your public reviews.

How we use it

• To build and send your free preview, and to answer you.
• To check whether your market is still open.
• To follow up about your preview, at most one email a day, and only about the preview unless you ask for more.

We never sell your information, and we never add you to a marketing list without your OK.

Texts, WhatsApp and Telegram

We only text you or message you on WhatsApp or Telegram if you give separate permission for it. You can reply STOP at any time. For clients, messages to your customers go only to people who opted in, as WhatsApp and the phone carriers require.

If you become a client

Your website, accounts and customer lists stay in your business name. You invite us in as a manager or team member, and you can remove us anytime. We use your customers' information only to run the work you hired us for, and it stays in your accounts.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with privacy friendly analytics that use no cookies and don't track you across other websites.

Where it's kept and for how long

Requests are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and our email provider. We keep preview requests for 180 days unless you become a client, then for as long as we work together and as the law requires after that.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it within 30 days.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and we'll email clients about any big change. Questions go to [email protected].
